about me
Dr. Anubha Jain
I am a bilingual journalist, author, and media professional with over 20 years of experience across print, electronic, and digital platforms, telling stories that inform, inspire, and create impact.
Currently, I serve as a Senior Journalist at ETV Bharat (Karnataka), reporting on space, science, health, and technology — with exclusive interviews and features published by BBC News, Lokmat Media Group, and other national and international outlets.
Over the years, I have consistently delivered high-impact stories and interviews with global changemakers — ranging from ISRO scientists such as Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan, Aditya-L1 Project Director Nigar Shaji, and NISAR Project Director Chaitra Rao, to Nobel Laureates Dr. Duncan Haldane and Prof. David Gross, as well as senior scientists from the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and the Raman Research Institute. I have also interviewed senior doctors, political leaders, and grassroots reformers, including Yogi Sadhguru and former President of India Smt. Pratibha Patil, among many others.
As a leading journalist, I was invited by All India Radio Karnataka to deliver a special talk on “Operation Sindoor.” Penned a coffee table book, “Women Leaders in Rajasthan Legislature – Since 1952,” I have chronicled the political journeys and leadership stories of women who shaped Rajasthan’s political history — a work that reflects my lifelong passion for women’s empowerment, equality, and representation.
My journalism extends beyond headlines — into the realms of science communication, policy dialogue, and human-interest stories that connect innovation with society. I have covered key national events, including ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya-L1 missions, the inauguration of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.’s Helicopter Factory by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, G20 meetings, and the BRICS Women Parliamentarian Summit.
While serving as the Rajasthan Chief Correspondent and later as the Karnataka Head of Lokmat Media, I extensively covered major political events such as the Rajasthan and Karnataka Legislative Assembly Elections, conducting exclusive one-on-one interviews with prominent political figures, including the Chief Ministers of both states and senior leaders from ruling and opposition parties.
Recognized for my thought leadership, I was invited to Mauritius as a delegate to the 11th World Hindi Conference, organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, in association with the Government of Mauritius—an event graced by the late Smt. Sushma Swaraj and poet-lyricist Prasoon Joshi, among other dignitaries.
A recipient of several national and international awards, including the Global Woman FinEmpowerment Excellence Award (2021) and the De Nobili National Award (2025), I continue to engage in public discourse through talks, panel discussions, and academic lectures.
My work is grounded in a Ph.D. in Public Administration, several academic publications, and my active involvement with institutions such as Rotary, FICCI FLO, and the Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI). I am currently serving my third consecutive term as Honorary Additional Secretary at RCCI and have previously been a core member of FICCI FLO Bengaluru Chapter. As an Honorary Director at Rotary Bengaluru, I have led initiatives in international service, women’s empowerment, and public image—organizing numerous roundtable discussions with distinguished leaders on issues of public importance.
My work has been featured and recognized by platforms such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) New Delhi, Radio 105.6 FM, and The Explore magazine.
In addition to journalism, I have successfully managed my own creative design firm, producing branding and publicity materials, reports, and multimedia content for organizations such as UNICEF, the Government of Rajasthan, NABARD, RCCI, Fortis Escorts, WHO Rajasthan, the National Rural Health Mission, and Care India.
At heart, I believe in journalism as a bridge — between science and society, truth and understanding, women and the world.
