Researchers at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru, through the AI & Robotics Technology Park (ARTPARK), are developing an AI-powered weather model to provide heat stress (‘feels-like temperature’) predictions at the sub-district (taluk) level in Karnataka, with plans to expand to Tamil Nadu and eventually across India.
