Senior Journalist Author Dr. Anubha Jain has been conferred with the Falcon Media Excellence Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to journalism and her unwavering commitment to truth, fairness, courage, and public service. The award was presented by the Bengaluru Press Club and Rotary International District 3191 at a ceremony held in Bengaluru.
The award was presented to Dr. Jain by Karnataka Agriculture Minister Ramalinga Reddy; renowned filmmaker, lyricist and columnist Dr. Chandrashekhar Nagthihalli; Rotarian Dr. Anil Gupta, District Governor, Rotary International District 3191 (2026–27); Rotarian K. P. Nagesh, Rotary International Director (Zones 4 & 7); and R. Shridhar, the President of the Bengaluru Press Club.
Earlier, in March 2026, she was awarded the Mumbai Press Club – N. R. Prakash Science & Technology Fellowship 2025, along with a research grant of ₹50,000. Her selected research project, titled “AI and Precision Agriculture: Building Climate-Resilient Farming for the 2030s through Drones, Sensors and Machine Learning,” explores the role of emerging technologies in strengthening sustainable agriculture.
Dr. Jain currently serves as Senior Journalist at ETV Bharat Karnataka, where she covers space, science, technology and health. Her news reports, analyses and feature articles have also been published by BBC News and in several national and international newspapers, research journals and leading magazines.
