My exclusive interview with a distinguished aerospace engineer and one of India’s foremost missile scientists, Dr. Tessy Thomas has been a pioneering force in the country’s strategic defence programme. Popularly known as the “Missile Woman of India,” she has played a decisive role in strengthening India’s long-range missile capabilities. She joined the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in 1985 and went on to serve as the former Director General (Aeronautical Systems).
