Honoured and felicitated by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI)-UBUNTU Consortium of Women Entrepreneurs’ Associations at Together We Grow, held at FKCCI, Bengaluru, on September 2, 2026. The programme was inaugurated by Shri D. K. Shivakumar, Chief Minister of Karnataka.
I was presented with a shield and shawl by Smt. K. Ratnaprabha, IAS (Retd.), former Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka; Smt. Rohini Sindoori, Secretary, MSME; and Smt. Uma Reddy, the first woman President of FKCCI.
The recognition acknowledged my contributions to journalism and public advocacy, commitment to advancing women’s leadership, and role as Honorary Additional Secretary of the Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).
As part of the exchange of ideas and institutional goodwill, I presented my coffee-table book, “Women Leaders in Rajasthan Legislature – Since 1952,” to Smt. Uma Reddy, President, FKCCI. In return, she presented me with a brochure on the FKCCI Mysore Chapter.
