Coffee Table Book Launch

My coffee table book titled “Women Leaders in Rajasthan Legislature- Since 1952”, was unveiled by Shri Kailash Meghwal, Speaker, 14th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly; Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Home Minister of Rajasthan; Smt Sumitra Singh, Former Speaker, Rajasthan State Assembly and 9 times MLA ; Dr KL Jain, Secretary General, Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Journalist  on 5th October 2017 in Jaipur .

The book chronicles the political journey of women leaders of Rajasthan and their contribution in the building of Rajasthan from the time of independence until now. The core issues which have been highlighted are whether 33% women reservation bill in Parliament and State Assemblies is a call of today’s time; Gender based intolerance, atrocities against women and Women Empowerment. Views on these issues of critical importance elicited through one on one dialogues with prominent women leaders in Rajasthan’s politics as well as eminent people from other professional domains.
