My exclusive interview with Amitabh Gautam PCCF Wildlife HP, Shimla in the newspaper as an editorial piece.

The snow leopards are one of the strikingly beautiful big cats in the world. India is host to 10% of the global population of Snow leopards, mainly found in the high mountain ecosystems, i.e., in Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. The union territory of Ladakh has 477 the greatest number of Snow Leopards. 718 Snow leopards are spread over two Union Territories and four states in the Himalayan Mountain range of the total 7,500 snow leopards surviving in the world at present.
